This hands-on family workshop explores how messages were shared in the past — and how they continue to influence us today.

Discover the printing press and the power of propaganda, then create your own bold, positive posters using simple printmaking techniques to take home. Along the way, families are encouraged to think about how words and images shape ideas.


  • Tickets are required for participants only.
  • This session runs from 13:00–14:00. Please arrive within this time slot to help us manage numbers.
  • Suitable for all ages. Children under 10 must be accompanied by a parent or carer.
  • Museum admission is not required to attend.
  • Please follow the signs from the car park to the Clore Learning Space, where you’ll meet Mae, the workshop leader.
