Visiting the Archive
The Wilshaw Building at PK Porthcurno houses the business archive of Cable & Wireless, with its roots dating back to 1870 and the laying of the first underwater cable out of Porthcurno.
Stay at PK
Come and stay in our beautiful Telegraph Cottage, just opposite the museum and in the heart of the historic valley of Porthcurno. The cottage was once the coach house and stable for the original telegraph station here at Porthcurno.
Parking at PK Porthcurno
PK Porthcurno operates both car parks in Porthcurno Valley and manages the public toilets in the lower car park. Both car parks have the same tariffs; you can conveniently park in one and pay in the other if needed.
Dog Friendly
We welcome dogs to the museum throughout the year and are a perfect day out for people who don’t want to leave their four-legged friends at home.
