Planet PK Champions is PK Porthcurno’s new environmental club – a part of our award-winning programme Planet PK which aims to promote awareness and knowledge about climate change.
We are looking for members to join our club and become our ‘Planet PK Champions’- leaders in our environmental programme by learning about and spreading positive climate messages.
How to join
Planet PK Champions is free to join, and future sessions will be held regularly during term times. Each session will focus on a different theme using art and science to engage with nature. We hope you will use what you learn to imagine and help create a positive environmental future for all.
What you’ll receive
Regular club members will receive a member’s pack containing the following:
- ‘Leave only footprints’ medal
- Wildflower seeds
- Gutta Percha leaf bag
- PK ring binder
- Planet PK Champions Passport
- Seed paper
Each session we will create a fun fact sheet about the topic we cover which you can take home and keep safe in your ring binder.
The passport has space for six stamps. Each time you come to a session you can add an animal footprint stamp to it. Once you have six stamps you will receive a prize!
