As an Apprentice with Porthcurno Telegraph Museum, you will work to support all the visitor-facing operations of the Museum.  Working as part of a small team, you will learn all about the history of this heritage site and support both colleagues and visitors.  As well as the on the job experience, you will also work towards a recognised Apprenticeship Qualifications.  Duties will include:

·         Meeting and Greeting Visitors

·         Supporting the Retail Outlet

·         Setting up and delivering presentations to visitors

·         Monitoring and re-stocking resources and literature

·         Money handling

·         General Administration duties

Working week:

You will be working a minimum of 30 hours per week, 5 days out of 7 to include some weekends. Flexibility is required for busier times of year.

Weekly wage: £234.90

Total hours per week: 30.00

Expected duration: 12 months
