Forest Friends is our forest school-inspired sensory workshop designed for children under 5 with their parents/carers, where stories come to life in a magical outdoor setting. These all-weather, outdoor sessions will be inspired by favourite children’s stories and seasonal themes, exploring the creative and practical use of tools and natural materials. Be dressed and ready for muddy play, sitting around a campfire and enjoying handmade toasty treats!
Join us for the first workshop of the autumn term where we will be looking at the colours of the summer ending and exploring fairy harvest time. Come and help the Forest Friends fairies dig up potatoes and sauté them into something tasty. Make flower bracelets and head bands, as well as designing your own miniature fairy gardens. It will be a busy little fairy harvest for all who attend!
• Elise Wilson, a local forest school leader and creative practitioner, will lead each session with support from our learning facilitator and resident artist, Mae Voogd.
• Sessions run from 10:30 to midday.
• Attendees are free to park in the Porthcurno Car Park.
• Child tickets: £6.50 each. Free admission for accompanying babies under 6 months.
