Don’t Step on a Bee Day!

Don’t Step on a Bee Day!

It’s the little things…

Down at the Telegraph Museum Porthcurno we appreciate the smaller things in life. Our grounds are abundant with subtropical plants and native varieties of wild and cultivated flowers. These beautiful green areas are home to local bee species as well as our own hive of honey makers.

July 10th is nationally known as ‘Don’t Step on a Bee Day!’ and we are helping the nation to spread the message far and far. Bees are essential for the pollination of crops and plants and are under constant threat by disease, invasive species and environmental changes.

Our approach is to support our local bee and insect populations by maintaining these natural environments and exploring other methods for environmental growth.
