As the PK Online Collection has over 34,000 items to explore, it can be difficult to know where to start.

To help, we have grouped all the items into categories known as ‘Themes’.

When preparing to put the entire collection online, we spent a few months deciding how to classify and group the collections. Originally starting with 160 suggested classifications, we finally whittled it down to a more user-friendly number of 24. These are our top-level classifications, with a further 86 sub-level classifications.

Simply select a theme to browse all the items that fall into that classification. Once you have selected a theme, you can use the ‘Filter’ bar on the right-hand side of the page to view available sub-level classifications listed under ‘THEME’.
