We are currently seeking volunteers to join our Visitor Services and Learning Departments. Our volunteers are valued members of the PK Porthcurno team and play an important role in supporting our visitors’ experience of the museum and its collections.

As a volunteer, you’ll have the opportunity to make new friends, share your skills, and improve your employment opportunities. Your time and expertise will also be helping to support the work of an educational charity and award-winning museum.

Our Front of House volunteers will be based at the museum front desk, supporting our Visitor Services team. You will be expected to greet visitors when they come through the door, provide information, and support with shop tasks. There is also the opportunity to enhance our visitor experience with delivering talks. Full training will be provided.
