We’re delighted to welcome author F.H. Pedford to PK Porthcurno for a special book signing event celebrating his brand-new crime novel, A Ghost Hunter’s Guide to Catching a Killer.

Frederik will be with us throughout the day, giving visitors the chance to meet the author and get a signed copy of this atmospheric new release. Set against the backdrop of the First World War, the series is inspired by the rise of spiritualism during the Great War, when grieving families turned to increasingly desperate ways to stay connected with lost loved ones.

PK Porthcurno features prominently in the story, with the main character—a telegraphist—working within a world shaped by global communications. Readers will recognise local landmarks including Zodiac House, the Rifle Club, and the dramatic coves of Porthcurno and Porth Chapel.
