Description
Forest Friends is our forest school-inspired sensory workshop designed for children under 5 with their parents/carers, where stories come to life in a magical outdoor setting. These all-weather, outdoor sessions will be inspired by favourite children’s stories and seasonal themes, exploring the creative and practical use of tools and natural materials. Be dressed and ready for muddy play, sitting around a campfire and enjoying handmade toasty treats!
Rosie’s Walk
Inspired by the picture book Rosie’s Walk, this session takes little ones on their very own stroll through the farmyard. We’ll explore the sights and sounds of harvest time, get creative making maps, and finish with the highlight of the day, cooking freshly harvested potatoes over the campfire!
• Elise Wilson, a local forest school leader and creative practitioner, will lead each session with support from our learning facilitator and resident artist, Mae Voogd.
• Sessions run from 10:30 to midday.
• Attendees are free to park in the Porthcurno Car Park.
• Child tickets: £6.50 each. Free admission for accompanying babies under 12 months.
