Travel to Great Britain, on the trail of Guglielmo Marconi

Recently, PK Porthcurno welcomed Italian journalist Marco Berech, who visited as part of his exploration of Guglielmo Marconi’s legacy—the renowned Italian inventor, electrical engineer, physicist, and politician credited with developing the first practical radio-based wireless telegraph system.

PK’s Gareth Parry and Paul Tyreman hosted Marco for an insightful visit to this historic site, offering a deeper understanding of the evolution of telecommunications in Britain and worldwide.

Marco also visited other significant communication sites. Such as our friends over at the Marconi Centre, Poldhu as well as the Lizard Wireless Station and more,
each playing a pivotal role in the story of telecommunications.
