Our first talk welcomes author and illustrator Caroline Pedler, who will be sharing her creative process and the journey behind making a picture book inspired by real life. Hear how her character Bobo has been inspiring children to think critically through a theatre production touring schools across Cornwall.

There’ll be a reading of The Accidental Gardener, a story about overwhelm and the importance of nature in our lives and communities — followed by a Q&A.

All ages are welcome, though this talk is particularly suited to older children with an interest in storytelling and creative processes, as well as adults.
