Our STEAM Explorers sessions are back! 7 to 12 year-olds can join our free ‘STEAM Explorers’ sessions, a morning of hands-on making activities that explore the realms of Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Maths.

Sessions are held in the Clore Learning Space opposite the museum car park.

Museum entry not required.

No booking required – just turn up on the day.

Chasing Rainbows

Find out how light splits up to form a rainbow. Build your own pocket rainbow maker. Look at rainbows in extraordinary giant bubbles and help us make a chalk rainbow on the ground at PK!

Some of this session will take place outdoors so please wear suitable clothing.

Squishy Circuits

Did you know that you can make electricity travel through dough?

Come along, find out how, design and build a squishy circuit – or invent a bug-eyed monster with light up eyes!
