Pillar Boxes, Telephone Boxes, and a Little Talk & Tea

It has been an active month on the museum’s YouTube channel, with seven videos being uploaded in only three weeks.  These videos include ‘Talk & Tea’, created for an exhibition in our tunnels.  Between January to March 2019 pupils from St Buryan Academy Primary School and residents from St Mary’s Haven Care Home, Penzance, took part in an Intergenerational Project with Tough Dough artists Alessandra Ausenda and Lizzie Black.

Other videos include our mini-series about public communication on the street, covering the classic red telephone box and even the humble pillar box.  Particularly good is the computer-generated images of the KX100 telephone box seen in the video about that type of telephone box.
